A call for both Biden and Trump to Resign.
Today we launched a petition that calls on both President Biden and former President Trump to step down. But before they step down we seek to have them do one final act of service. Please read our petition below, sign it (use the link below) and share it if you agree.
Dear Presidents Biden & Trump,Â
For the prosperity of our Republic, We The People respectfully ask both of you to honorably withdraw your candidacies for President of the United States of America to help unite a divided nation. We call on you to embody the character and integrity of your predecessors by recognizing when it is time to walk away and turn over power to the next generation.
It is self-evident that both of you believe you are the answer to the problems that ail our country, but the people clearly disagree. Your joint candidacies infringe upon freedom itself, as a free people are shackled by the impossible decision of voting for whom they dislike the least. This is tyranny against liberty.
As you are undoubtedly aware, posterity will be the judge of your presidencies, and the judgment is likely to be harsh. However, your final acts of service could place you alongside the founders of our nation. We ask that your final acts of service be to unify the nation by demanding that all candidates in your party sign a pledge, and that the next Congress and President complete the following tasks within the next two years:
Pass a constitutional amendment banning all forms of campaign contributions.
Pass a bill setting age limits for all elected officials.
Set members of Congress's salaries relative to the Debt-to-GDP ratio.
Ban members of Congress from trading individual stocks.
As the respective leaders of your parties, you can achieve these tasks that have wide support among the people. By doing so, you will be:
Ending the sale of our Republic every two years;
Ensuring politicians serve the people and only the people;
Forcing our leaders to pay down our crippling debt; and
Requiring them to abide by the laws that govern our citizens.
By successfully resigning and ensuring the passage of these key items, it is almost certain posterity will smile kindly upon both of you. You would be the presidents who returned our Republic back to the people, where it always belonged. Failure to take the following actions will further justify the people’s disdain and only demonstrates that you have never been for the people. Please heed our calls for your resignations and return our Republic to us.
